My name is Chris Sackey, and I’m a drama tutor, confidence coach, and HCPC-registered Arts Therapist (Dramatherapist) with a background in acting, performance, and creative arts therapy. I dedicate myself to helping people connect with their authentic selves through the art of communication and self-expression.
Before discovering acting and the performing arts, I was a reserved teenager. However, the care and attention I received from my teachers and peers helped me grow into the person I am today, giving me the tools to face any challenges that come my way.
I’m a graduate of the prestigious BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in Los Angeles. After completing my formal training, I worked on a variety of theatre, film, and television productions, and began guiding others on their journey toward self-confidence and unlocking their potential.
I then pursued a Master’s in Drama & Movement Therapy at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where I deepened my expertise in creative arts and learned to apply these skills to support cognitive and emotional development.
Alongside my coaching work, I now freelance as a dramatherapist in both primary and secondary schools, helping young people build confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being through drama and movement-based approaches.
